Canadian teachers have developed new ways of teaching that include making the accommodations and modifications needed by many students in inclusive classrooms. Whether it is designing an inclusive curriculum, planning for individuals, creating a positive behavioural environment, or determining needed accommodations and modifications, there are teaching essentials that can help. In this section, we share several practices that teachers have used successfully.
